Admission is given to various classes sought for in the Early Years &Primary School while Admissions into Year 7, Year 8, Year 10 & Year 11 is based on performances and their age…
Note that the minimum age requirement for admission into Year 7 is eleven (l I ) years and also all the necessary admission documents stated in the application process should have been submitted to the Principal or the Head teacher before admission letter is issued. The birth certificate is a Compulsory document.
FOR EARLY YEARS
A meeting between the Parents /Guardians, the child and the Head Teacher is a pre-requisite for children desiring Admissions into the Early Years.
A child’s place is confirmed upon payment of Tuition and Registration Fees within the deadline stipulated on the admission letter.
Early Years classes and their ages are as follows
Creche Class for 3months – 11 Months
Activity Class for 1 Year Plus as at the time of Admission application
Pre – Nursery class for 2 Years Plus as at the time of Admission application.
Nursery 1 class for 3 years Plus as at the time of Admission application.
Nursery 2 class for 4 years Plus as at the time of Admission Application
FOR PRIMARY
Admissions into Year 1 – 6 commences with an enquiry by a parent/guardian. In the event of a vacancy,
parent/guardian completes an application Form which sets the stage for an entrance examination.
A child is placed in class based on his or her performance in the entrance test. Where there is doubt of the child’s performance level, he or she could be placed in class for a trial period not exceeding one academic term.
PRIMARY CLASSES AND THEIR AGES ARE AS FOLLOWS
Year 1for 5 (Five) Years Plus as at the time of Admission application
Year 2 for 6 (Six) Years Plus as at the time of Admission application
Year 3 for 7 (Seven) Years Plus as at the time of Admission application
Year 4 for 8 (Eight) Years Plus as at the time of Admission application
Year 5 for 9 (Nine) Years Plus as at the time of Admission application
Year 6 for 10 (Ten) Years Plus as at the time of Admission application
FOR SECONDARY SCHOOL YEAR 7 – YEAR 12
To qualify for admission into the Secondary School, a candidate is expected to have completed six years of primary education, and attained the age of eleven (I l) by September I in the year for which admission is sought.
An Entrance Examination and Oral Interview will be conducted for all candidates while offer of admission will be made to successful candidates only. A child’s place is confirmed upon payment of the minimum deposit within the deadline stipulated in the admission Letter.
